Using this Knowledge Base
This topic provides a quick guide to how to navigate this PSDI Knowledge Base.
What is the Knowledge Base?
This Knowledge Base is a centralised repository of information to help you to learn about PSDI and how to use the resources, to provide guidance material to help you gain insights independently, and to provide pointers to other learning materials and resources that might help you in your work. This information contained in the Knowledge Base will increase over time as we add information about other areas of relevance to different research roles and disciplines.
How is the Knowledge Base organised?
The top level organisation is split into four areas:
You can expand each of these sections in the left-hand navigation to view sub-sections about particular subjects and to navigate to individual topics of interest within these sections.
Getting Started with PSDI
This area of the Knowledge Base provides an introduction to what we provide and some pointers to resources that may be relevant to different job roles:
- Researchers
- Data Stewards and related roles
- Research Technicians and Research Technical Professionals
Guidance
The Guidance section of the PSDI Knowledge Base offers information about best practices and methodologies relevant to working with data in research, and how to find and use the resources that PSDI has to offer. The topics within the Knowledge Base also provide links to useful related resources such services, tools, training, and guidance that are provided by other organisations.
We anticipate the range and volume of subjects in the Knowledge Base to increase over time with input from the community.
IT Support
